In an attempt to encourage our little kids to read, Sahara International School Arabic team holds every year a "Reading Competition". Students were given multiple questions about different interesting topics to answer and a set of books to read. They were very interested to read and answer the questions as they were impressed to get introduced to new information. Students were so much involved and encouraged to participate in this competition and they prepared presentations about the books they liked the most. At Sahara, we believe that reading is a life style that kids are supposed to practice from this very young age. We believe that including students in the learning process and introducing them to different interesting topics broaden their minds and expand their knowledge.
